Winter Storm

This is a painting I did from my memory of living almost half of my life in Ohio. This is the type of scene I remember the most. I live in the South now, and rarely see any significant amount of snow, for which I am very thankful. I hate snow. It's supposed to reach 81* here today and I am going to finish my Christmas shopping.

Oil on 22"x30" gallery wrapped canvas.
This painting can be purchased here.

This is a lovely tree portrait. My father was from Ohio, a town called Pickerington.

I live in Gainesville, Florida.

Best of luck with your blog.

Hi Kathleen,

Great sensation of cold and light.
The depth of field is quite well depicted.
